To Begin

Lime & chilli marinated king prawns - sriracha spiced mayo - Asian ‘slaw
Or
Charred tandoori halloumi - tempura vegetables - Asian ‘slaw


Main Course

Beef Fillet Wellington - Prime British beef - wild mushroom pate - Parma ham - puff pastry - red wine gravy

Or

Wild mushroom, creamed leek and toasted walnut pithivier - chasseur sauce

Potato gratin - panache of fresh vegetables


To Finish

Trio of puddings
Lemon posset - double chocolate brownie - Baked plum and ginger bakewell


Cheese platter

4 x artisan cheeses - caramelised red onion chutney - crackers - celery - figs

 

 

Cooking / Re-heating instructions

Starters

  • Tempura veg - Remove veg from packaging and place on a parchment lined oven tray and reheat at 200 c for 6 - 8 minutes until piping hot

  • Marinated king prawn salad - ready to eat

Main courses:

  • Beef fillet Wellington / Vegetarian: Place on a parchment lined oven tray and cook for 20mins @ 210 until pastry is browned and crisp. Let rest for further 5 minutes before portioning (Beef is already sous vide to medium rare)

  • Potatoes: Place on a parchment lined oven tray and cook for 15/20 minutes @ 210 centigrade until browned and heated through

  • Vegetables: Place on a parchment lined oven tray and cook for 8/10mins @ 210 until piping hot

  • Gravy: Decant into a small saucepan and bring to the boil - If a little thick, add a splash of water or wine

The rest

  • Desserts: Ready to eat – (Chocolate brownie and bakewell best enjoyed at room temp or slightly warmed through)

  • Cheese: Ready to eat - Best served at room temperature

The above is a guide only and all ovens will vary slightly. If you like your food well browned or extra crisp, please just leave in the oven for longer - Please also note that if your oven is full you may need to lengthen cooking times

    How it works:

  • Email your order to chef@chefgary.co.uk along with your address. We’ll be delivering Saturday, February 12th and Tuesday, February 14th. We aim to get to you between 2-6pm. Please check for availability.

  • Please also include any special dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances. Always a pleasure to accomodate.

  • We’ll send out your invoice to secure delivery for you via email for bank transfer

  • We will message on the week to confirm times for delivery.

  • Minimum spend £120 - Delivery free within ten miles of SO53 - Sensible charge after this.

  • All food should refrigerated on receiving and to be consumed within 2 days of delivery.
