Roast Lamb

ChefGary's latest dinner party catered a delicious and gourmet tasting menu for a fabulous hen party near Swanwick Marina. 


 

This weekend I was cooking for four young ladies, all celebrating in style with a tantalizing and decadent array of beautiful dishes in a quaint little holiday home. The smell of salt was strong in the air from the marina and the sun was just going down as I arrived. I parked along the sea front and brought everything round to the rear entrance of the barn and was warmly welcomed by the roasting log fire. We had seven courses to get through and so I had allowed two hours set up time, with a further 3 hours dining. All food had been prepared prior to arrival and so it was a relaxed atmosphere as I laid the table and then began the evening's cooking. My favourite dish of the night was definitely the lamb main course, utilizing two separate cuts, also being a top favourite with the girls too! Definitely another top dinner party with clean plates, lots of smiles and full bellies :)
